Lucky you, you've stumbled upon the journal of twentythirty-something graphic designer with a desk job, a dog, a husband and all the other trappings of your average american life.
I am an Undeclared politically, and Agnostic spiritually, and all other things that sound quite wishy-washy, but really I have very strong ideas, many of them centering around the fact that things are not black and white and we as humans are not capable of know the real truths.
I abhor materialism and am its biggest victim all at once.
I love quality, local, slow food, and get better and better at cooking it every day (just ask my husband).
I am not a happy cube dweller, but all that will change in time.
Recent discoveries:
• There is such a thing as a good looking comfortable shoe if you spend enough money
• The sound that, all my life, I thought owls make is actually made by doves (if you don't know what I'm talking about, it goes, "whoo EEEE whoo whoo whoo")
• Everything I discover that I love is discontinued three months later
• Dave Eggers also writes! (In fact, he mostly writes)
• Straus Family Creamery. There's nothing better than unhomogenized organic milk in a glass bottle. Nothing. Okay, I take that back. There are some things better. But not dairy-wise. Well, yes, there are some cheeses that are better.
• I can actually garden! Sort of. (I take this one back)
